Everyone at our Ys has a story to tell. Every child learning a stroke in the swimming pool. Every new Canadian sitting down to a book written in English. Every young adult writing a resume. Every older adult benefitting from Cardiac Rehabilitation. These are success stories, and none of them would be possible without our volunteers. Each day, hundreds of committed YMCA volunteers dedicate their time, energy and enthusiasm to the health and well being of others in our communities.
This year, we want to give our volunteers a chance to tell their own stories. All of them have real lives. They have families and jobs. Many are busy students. Their commitment to the Y is a commitment to community, and we continue to draw inspiration from them. Our annual report focuses on the work of our valued volunteers.
